The use of weatherproof turn-out blankets is included in your board.  Turn-out blankets are put on and changed for significant fluctuations as part of the service of your board.    

All horses are de-wormed every 8-10 weeks by the SQF management and is included in board.  All horses must be vaccinated, with certain vaccinations required.  Boarders may use their own vet for vaccinations, but proof of vaccinations must be presented to the farm upon move-in.  SQF maintains records of such required care.

Boarders may use one of the numerous vets and farriers that attend to SQF horses, or may use their own.  Bringing horses in and turning them back out after services is also included with  board.

Horses are fed a minimum of 2x per day, morning & evening.  Some horses with special dietary needs may be fed lunch and/or late feedings.  The standard feed is Blue Seal or Triple Crown.  The farm will feed any supplements provided by the boarder according to their instructions.

Turn-out at the farm is priority with great care given to the safety and well being of horse.  The specifics of turn-out are managed by Dona's watchful  eye. Specialized turn-out is available when someone is scheduled to supervise.

Several events are held at SQF each year. and all SQF boarders are welcome to participate.  Local dressage organiztions host shows throughout the season as well as SQF sponsored schooling show series.  Carrollton Hounds Hunt leaves from the farm as well.  Boarders are welcome to trailer out for additional instruction. However due to insurance coverage, outside instructors cannot teach at the farm.

Full care board at SQF is currently $725/month.  This price includes a required 3 lessons a month, or training for your horse, your choice.  Along with lessons, this fee also includes small group turn-out either days or nights, worming, blanketing, putting on/removal of fly masks & boots, feeding of provided supplements and healthy (and happy!) horse management.  Specialized services are availble such as clipping, holding for the farrier, emergency or nursing care, etc.  These fees are listed in the boarding contract as well as posted in the kitchen and each tack room.  

Full care with training board is also available.  There are two options.  3 lessons or training rides per week for $1080/month, or 5 of the same per week for $1300/month  including all  other full care options.
